Applied Sandtray Therapy Program
Applied Sandtray Therapy Training is a comprehensive 3‑day IN-person experiential program designed for mental health professionals seeking to deepen their clinical skills using sandtray therapy with children, youth, and adults.
This training blends theory, neuroscience, cultural responsiveness, and hands‑on practice to equip clinicians with the knowledge and confidence to integrate sandtray therapy into trauma‑informed, developmentally attuned practice.
Foundations In Sandtray Therapy
Foundations in Sandtray Therapy is a powerful 2‑day virtual training that invites helping professionals to experience the healing impact of symbolic, sensory‑based therapeutic work. Designed for addiction counsellors, school counsellors, unregulated helpers, and regulated mental health professionals, this cohort‑based program blends theory, neuroscience, ethics, diversity, and hands‑on experiential learning to build real clinical confidence. You’ll learn how to present, process, teach regulation and document sandtray sessions with children, youth, and adults while discovering your own personal transformation through therapist self‑work.

Advanced Trauma in the Sandtray
(Offered In-Person OR Interactive Synchronous Virtual)
This advanced clinical training equips clinicians with trauma informed competencies for integrating Sandtray Therapy into assessment, stabilization, and trauma processing.
Participants learn to identify trauma presentations across the lifespan, apply DSM5 criteria, understand neurobiological impacts, and use Sandtray interventions to support regulation, narrative processing, and integration. Through case studies and experiential practice, clinicians develop skills in managing dissociation, monitoring SUDS, applying the TriPhasic Model, and addressing secondary traumatic stress and burnout.
